High anonymity (elite proxy) - HTTP Servers of this type do not send HTTP_X_FORWARDED_FOR, HTTP_VIA and HTTP_PROXY_CONNECTION variables. Host doesn't even know you are using proxy server an of course it doesn't know your IP address.

Judge Rules Anonymous Internet Critic Can Remain Unnamed

A Jefferson County judge decided Friday to keep the identity of Re-call Carl anonymous. Re-call Carl is the name behind an email address used to send out political cartoons and jokes about the Jefferson County judge and county commissioners in 2004.

Former County Commissioner Jimmie Cokinos says the e-mails were defamatory, so his attorneys filed a motion to unmask Re-call Carl`s identity. Judge Gary Sanderson denied that request Friday.

Attorneys for the advocacy group, public citizen, who represented Re-call Carl, say the first ammendment right to privacy was upheld. They say Re-call Carl`s information was not false and they say Cokinos is a public figure.

Cokinos believes Re-call Carl used county time and equipment to send out the e-mails. But Levy says all information from the county computer specialist proves otherwise.

Cokinos says Friday`s ruling may be appealed.
