How to send anonymous email

Email History
Some years ago, in the early 1970's, R. Tomlinson was working on a small team developing the THENEX operating system, with local email programs called sndmsg  and readmail. In 1971, Tomlinson developed the first email application called ARPANET when he up-dated SNDMSG by adding a portion of software to it called CPYNET capable of copying and duplicating files over the network, and informed his colleagues by sending them an e-mail using the new developed software with a few instructions on how to use it. To extend the addressing to the network, Tomlinson chose the "commercial at" symbol "@" to combine the user name and host server names, providing the naturally meaningful notation "user_name@hostserver" that is the standard for email addressing nowadays. These early piece of software had simple functionality and were command line driven, but established the basic transactional model that still defines the technology -- email gets sent to someone else's mail box. It appears that the first electronic mail message was sent in 1971 by an engineer called Ray Tomlinson. Nowadays, the web users send each other trillions of e-mail messages. An electronic mailing system works in much the same way that the postal service we are used to operates.
